Can You See My Bra In This?

So fashion is important? Well I think its good to keep up with new trends, but do they really have to be so in your face about it about it? Catwalk fashion can be so over the top sometimes. I bought a copy of Elle at the weekend and thought great, I’ll read all about the latest styles and designs etc, little did I expect that designer Miu Miu would be promoting showing off your lingerie under very low cut see-through dresses and blouses. Then of course looking further into the magazine I saw even more see-through blouses and tops, one in particular caught my eye which was a Louis Vuitton, although you couldn’t quite see every detail of the bra underneath.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love fashion and I love lingerie, but really the two, no matter how old or gorgeous you are, should they really be shown off the way these two designers were showing it! Just my opinion of course and I’m not an expert on this but really there does have to be taste in the design! Now a gorgeous corset as outerwear is perfect for any time but lets face it you couldn’t wear these styles with your average bra that you wear to the office!

I’m not saying that sheer clothing shouldn’t be worn, and that a glimpse of lingerie is wrong but subtlety is the key, at least give the illusion that you’re trying to have some dignity when you get dressed! OK maybe I’m showing my age here, but I feel that for a woman to look sexy she has to have an air of mystery about her with regard what she wears and when!
