LingerieFW™ debut show in pics!
LingerieFW™, the first Fashion Week dedicated exclusively to the intimate apparel industry made its debut the other weekend, showcasing AW13 collections at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. Six designers took the stage via runway and presentations: global powerhouse Affinitas & Parfait, luxuriously erotic FYI by Dani Read, innovative NaïS, sultry Nevaeh Intimates, provocative Rouge Séduire and effortless Uye Surana.
Founder & Director of LingerieFW™ Lauren Rich told Lingerieblog.co.uk, “It is safe to say intimate apparel has successfully staked its claim as a power player in the greater fashion industry, and as such deserves a high visibility, influential platform to collectively give its growing force of brands their due voice. The goal of LingerieFW™ is to give this voice to the hundreds of beautiful, innovative intimates designers & brands via a channel not only reaching industry but also the consumer – spotlighting & elevating the industry as a whole.
