The Best Bras of 2008

I’ve had a lot of bras land on my desk over the last twelve months and as the year comes to an end I’ve put together my Best Bras of 2008. I’ve chosen the winners from bras that I’ve actually seen up close or tried on. If you think I’ve missed out something leave a comment to let me know….

 

Most Unusual Bra
This title must go to the Golf Ball bra available from Mio Destino.

If you like a quick round with a number three wood then this is the bra for you. Its not cheap – the bra retails at around £200 and there’s matching knickers on top of that. Thinking about the knickers – make sure the balls are out of the way before sitting down!!

Its probably the strangest bra I’ve ever come across with golf balls dangling from just about everywhere so congratulations to Mio Destino on the Most Unusual Bra of 2008 award!

Best DD+ Bra
The Curvy Kate collection of bras from Brastop.com are probably not the sexiest DD+ bras around but they really are incredibly comfy.

I had one land on my desk back in October and it was in my size!! I must admit it was like a second skin – lots of support and really comfortable.

Finding decent, affordable DD+ bras can be quite tricky but I think Curvy Kate is a real winner. There are lots and lots of different colours and styles to choose from and they make them up to ‘K’ cup size.

Most Luxurious Bra
Whilst not the most expensive lingerie around the Jesus Fernandez sets I reviewed back in June really have stuck in my mind. When you talk about quality then this is it. The babydoll and bra/short set I tried on was so smooth – just feeling the materials told you a lot about the quality and it looks really good too!

The Paris babydoll and Francis set are available from Peacock and Strutt and are girly, seductive and just plain gorgeous.

Neither is over expensive retailing around the £50/£60 mark but still feels like your wearing something really special.

Well done to Jesus Fernandez winning out Most Luxurious Bra Award 2008!

Sexiest Bra
Now I know you’ll start moaning at me about choosing a Wonderbra as the sexiest bra and I must admit I really hated it at first but over time this bra really has grown on me and its really, really sexy – honestly it is! Its not made from the best quality silks or really expensive but it gives you a great cleavage and helps you vamp up like a 50′s film star and just about anyone can afford it.

Burlesque was all the rage in 2008 and back in September we got asked by Wonderbra to help promote their new range of bras from Dita Von Teese and I managed to get my hands on one. Its high street quality, affordable and simply put it looks good – especially on Dita!!

Well done Wonderbra and Dita for our sexiest bra of 2008!
