A new lingerie Kickstarter campaign has been launched by two US graduates, Sophia Berman and Laura West, who are hoping to create a better fit for larger cup sizes using technology and engineering. They have developed a patent-pending design to replace traditional underwires that lifts and supports while reducing shoulder grooves and back pain.
The campaign will run until May 25th and is looking to raise $25,000 for the first production run and rewards will include options to pre-order bras, limited edition black and gold sets, the option to design your own bra and the option to participate in the design of the company’s next line.
The first bras to be produced will be an everyday T-Shirt bra called The Marjory, a pretty and lacy full coverage bra called The Suzanne and a longline bralette that comes with support.
The ideas look great and you can back the project for as little as $5 (about £3). Head over to the Kickstarter project page for more information and check out some pics below.
