What Katie Did SS10
Faux vintage lingerie designers What Katie Did have just released their new ranges for Spring/Summer 2010.
The new collection see’s the return of some perennial favourites such as the stunning satin Maitresse range that first launched their signature bullet bra; but it also introduces some brand-new styles.
The Hollywood range is the result of innumerable requests from customers for authentically vintage-style loungewear, and the black satin and cream lace trim of the resulting sophisticated gown and slip has been used to create a matching lingerie set. The Hollywood bra is the newest addition to the design house’s bra wardrobe – this time it’s a flattering plunge style with seamed cups for real vintage flair.
The delicate Sarah range features a classic bullet bra, gently shaping knickers, a suspender belt and a rather more seriously cinching waspie, all constructed from beautiful, pale pink lace and powermesh. It’s named after showgirl extraordinaire, and What Katie Did sales assistant, Slinky Sparkles.
Another burlesque diva provided the inspiration for the Tempest – the busty Ms Storm would look even more ravishing than usual in this new overbust corset’s curvy cups and laced hips. Completing the new corset additions are the Cabaret styles, which are constructed from scandalously sheer fabric, with satin overboning and beautiful ribbon backlacing. Surprisingly hard-wearing, these corsets are real special occasion indulgences – perfect or striptease artistes!
