Mel B & Ultimo Hit the Runway at New York Fashion Week

Ultimo is set to dazzle New York as it steps onto the runway at New York Fashion Week on September 9th.

Ultimo will unveil its collection with Mel B and will join designers including DKNY, Philip Lim, Hervé Léger, Diesel Black Gold, Betsey Johnson, Ralph Lauren and Rock & Republic.

The show will be staged at New York’s historic Metropolitan Pavilion as part of ‘STYLE360’ sponsored by Oral B. 

Ultimo, created by Michelle Mone, is the very first UK lingerie design house to appear at NYC Fashion Week and one of the few Scottish designers ever to grace its runways. Michelle told Lingerieblog.co.uk, “I could not believe it when I received the phone call from New York; I honestly thought it was a wind up! You don’t get much bigger than New York Fashion Week.”

“To be showing in one of the most prominent fashion cities in the world, alongside such well-established designers, is just phenomenal. It will be a huge honor and a fantastic opportunity for us to shine under the international spotlight, and to establish Ultimo on a global level. Spice Girl Mel B, the current face and body of Ultimo, said “I am thrilled to be representing Ultimo at New York Fashion Week. I’m so passionate about Ultimo’s designs and I can’t wait for the crowd’s reaction to what Michelle and the team will be sending down the runway.”
