Versaille Basque by Pour Moi

Initial thoughts
I like basques and the Versaille basque from Pour Moi is a very classy one that has all the traits that a basque should have. They’re sexy, can help to hide a few little lumps and bums and give you a great look when worn under fairly close fitting clothing. I also like that you can wear them with or with the suspender straps depending on the look you want.

Fit and Shape
I liked the fit of this basque, yes it was a little tight but then everything new can feel that way until you’ve worn it for a while and besides basques need to be close fitting. The shape with its light boning is great as it gives you a trim look while still letting you move with ease.

Comfort
The Versaille basque from Pour Moi is very comfortable with its lightly padded cups and very smooth lined body that surprisingly keeps you quite cool even in warmer weather. The fastening panel is soft so no rubbing or pinching and the straps are also soft the touch to help avoid digging into your shoulders. The hook and eye fastenings at the back are on a soft fabric that is long-line to help with support.

Materials & Durability
The satin style fabric used is very durable and smooth and with its added lace trimmings has a very feminine look to it. There is boning on this basque which is quite comfortable but it does make you sort your posture out. The fully adjustable straps are quite impressive as they don’t slip like some bra straps do. The same can be said for the fabric used on the suspender straps, too many suspender straps slip throughout the day but not with these which is a real plus as it means I don’t have to keep dashing to the loo and adjusting them.

Design and Style
The shape or this basque is very good as it contours your natural shape and helps to accentuate your waistline. I love the design at the bottom, it has a scooped shape instead of the normal straight line that you see so often. The embroidered detail on the cups and bottom edge are a very elegant touch and add a little class to this affordable basque.

I would recommend this basque to anyone wanting to buy one but not break the bank, its good value for money and will last a while too. If you want to spice things up then this basque from Pour Moi is ideal to help you feel and look sexy, it will also help to hide a few lumps and bumps too!
